Three new albums from Moonjune Records are sampled this Thursday, from Moraine, Slivovitz and Machine Mass Trio. New UK jazz from Andre Canniere Group, and at last MSMW's live album has arrived - and it is good. Digging into a mixed bag of rock music from Sweden, including the blues rock of Brickhouse, jazz/rock fusion of Matt Morgan and the trop hop (?... wha do I know?) The Movits. Early Warren Zevon. And so on, with the usual unusual mix, passed 8.30pm GMT:

Been thinking about doing a show comparing and contrasting two excellent Swedish keyboard duos, in the forms of Mats-Morgan and the Johansson brothers - and here it is. Also music from the new Jake Hertzog album, Evolution. And I must not forget, as recommended by my brother Chris, the long track from the heavily praised Miracle Fortress album. And only just discovered that you can hear us via the Apple IPod Radio link (under the Unversity & Colleges Radio section).

Jonas Hellborg reckoned he "rescued" them from YM to play more adventurous music, that their father Jans would have expected. So when they do unhook themselves from the mediocre they can be really good and innovative

I don't think Yngwie was mediocre!!! But jazz is obviously more adventurous than most things.

Good move ejecting the CD btw.

Do you use MP3s too?

I think Stratovarius rather than YM - that was Hellborg's opinion in grabbing them  from YM

Ergonomic headache the layout here - so like then if I don't engage, I take the disc playing out of the machine - try not to do that too often. Everybody else uses MP3, but they have to hand in USB stick of melodies for an engineer to load up, but my promos are on CD - which give me some flexibility to change playlists someway into a show
