Hey there,

I am from the band Sky Picnic (Psychedelic/ space rock genre) who was recently given a page here.  We're submitting same samples of our music for review.

A little about us:
"Sky Picnic is a psychedelic rock band residing in Brooklyn, New York. Their music surrounds the listener in a mystical, fairy tale like world of psychedelia, that treads the line between flowery and eerie. Founded in 2007 by Chris Sherman and Leah Cinnamon, Sky Picnic added Pete Meriwether in 2008 and proceeded to gig extensively throughout New York City. Their debut record, "Farther In This Fairy Tale," was released in March 2011 on Nasoni Records of Germany and has been hailed as the perfect "turn on, tune in, drop out" experience. Sky Picnic is currently in the early stages of writing and recording a second LP, keeping faithful to their roots, while expanding on their already unique sound to create a new psychedelic trip for the listener."

Audio streams (and some downloads) available at:

Our full-lp and ep can be downloaded at our page.  I can PM a link to it for all interested- just let me know!

Cheers, and hope you dig!

Chris

Their page is at http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=6688

Two things I would say to Sky Picnic.

1. Please add the other releases to your page from Bandcamp by using the "Add albums" link over the album there.

2. I would be more than happy to do an interview with you, but please give me some days (I am swamped with work) and add your other releases, which includes a free EP btw, to your PA page.   I will also download the free EP and review it sometimes before Christmas. I am not a space rock fan so it is perhaps best to let the spaced out/martians here review that EP too.

Good luck and I will speak to you soon.

Hey there,

All of our releases are on our PA page...not sure if they aren't showing up for you perhaps?  We have the 1 LP, 2 EP's and a single (the latter of which are in the Official singles/ EP's etc section).

Also, yes, we'd definitely be down to do an interview.  Keep me posted.  You can reach us at [email protected] as well.

Hey gang,

Long time no speak!

We were hard at work on LP #2, which will be out next month on Nasoni Records.

We're looking to get the press machine rolling again, so if anyone can write reviews, or give us radio play, or wants to do an interview, please email us/ message us, so we can get you the new tunes!

Chris

Hello again!

I just wanted to keep this thread active and see if there was anyone out there looking to review the music, or if anybody has any websites/ blogs they contribute to that would consider an article or interview with us.

We're just really trying to build things the DIY way if possible, but even that can be difficult, so all the help we can get is GREATLY appreciated!

PS- new record in summer 2014 :)
