Matt, I remember you saying that Lyra/Bon Bon shipping is the only kind you find acceptable. What about Spike/Rarity?

I am not a fan Spike in most cases. :P And interspecies coupling is weird.

Spike/Rarity honestly pisses me off in the show itself. And yeah I'm probably reading too much into it (because you take it too literally it's really gross), but it's incredibly jarring because the rest of the show is completely aromantic since it's from the perspective of a child. Sure, you know that Mr and Mrs Cake are presumably in love, and all of the ponies had to come from somewhere (although except for Twilight and Pinkie WHERE THE F*CK IS EVERYONE'S PARENTS? Is Scootaloo a wandering orphan?), but you see no physical signs of affection from anyone. But then there's Spike with f**king hearts and kissing and anthro fantasies.

IDK, I've probably been on FiMchan and ponibooru and DA too long. Although I do like a lot of drawings that are intended to be shipping but can be interpreted non-sexually.

I like Rarity but she is way too annoying sometimes. I've learned to like Spike more.

I was trying to be helpful on FiMwiki because it looked like there had been mistake in an automated filter, but nope, they are suppressing all uses of the word Lyra, and nearly instantly deleted my post wondering aloud why that was necessary. I'm sure that will end well.
