Baba O'Riley is just about the earliest prog track I can remember making an impact on me before I had any clue about what prog was. The use of electronics combined with perhaps one the best drumming performances ever makes it very special. I love the Beatles track as well but its not really that close for me.

As Miles Davis put it, why play all the notes, just play the ones that are good.
