I clicked initialy on FD because of that great album jacket with potraits of them painted by Hockney, Kitaj, etc. Could be better with Rough Boys the song on it , though. ( BTW, Rough Boys took the place at Townshend solo lp Empty Glass because Daltrey was refused to sing that one) My fav tracks from both albums with Kenny Jones, just as decor:

I misunderstood and thought you meant Kenny G, so I was going to come in here and WUT.

But, I don't know much about The Who at all, so no vote.

It's Hard has this:

That's my favorite song by The Who.  The rest of the album (apart from Athena) didn't really please me when I checked it out.  Still, favorite song = vote cast.

I remember how disappointing It's Hard was.....being a teenage fanboy, I tried to love it.....a couple nice tunes but, man, the drop in quality from Who Are You to FD to Hard is dramatic.  I revisited Hard a few months back and the whole thing sounds so 80s, so abrasively inorganic.  Still, Cry If You Want is a groovy track.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Composing are nice, great Entwistle tracks and so fine bass work, etc, but a poor production, and poor artwork. They were tried to make that "80s sound", what was not suitable for The Who, even with mr.Jones. IMHO.
