I've never been on 4chan.

But I do have a twitter. It's actually not a bad site. Facebook is worse than it. And it gets boring very quickly so can't get addictive. To me anyway

Twitter is terribly designed, you have to press more and scroll scroll scroll to get previous tweets instead of being able to flip through an archive, it breaks your back button, and anyone reading later has no idea what post the person is responding to with @whoever so the conversation is incomprehensible. They make the only content there incredibly difficult to access, and they may have studied and decided that 140 characters was all people need, but it is still annoying as hell to read when it's not and you have to read multiple tweets in reverse order. People complain about Facebook (although James only does because he's crotchety), but it actually has functionality.

If you click on the @bla bla bla - Incomprehensible conversation tweets you can see the conversation history. But true about the character limit. It doesn't bother me though because I don't tweet. I just follow some pages.
