I'd like to recommend the band/project For All We Know.

It's a band from Dutchman Ruud Jollie (ex-Within Temptation) and he's been working on this album for 4 years and finally it has been released.
It's a good album, with a touch of gothic (a bit) but mostly it's heavy prog, like Demians but it also have some touches of Porcupine Tree and Pain of Salvation.

Guest musicians are amongst others:

Wudstick (vocals)
Kris Gildenlöw (bass) [ex-Pain of Salvation]
Léo Margarit (Drums) [Pain of Salvation]
Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation )
John Wesley (Guitars) [live guitarist of Porcupine Tree]

Hi, I have to recommend some albums by these bands:

Astra, with their album "Weirding"
Fatal Fusion, with "Land of the sun"

These two albums occupy my mind as of late.

Astra's "Weirding" is just pure old-school prog/psychedelia, not unlike Pink Floyds early albums. The whole record is just outstanding, NO weak tracks, and PLENTY of Mellotrons & analogue synths.

Fatal Fusion's "Land of the Sun" is a mixture of many styles, jazz, blues, Latin, prog, classical, hard rock, space rock, you name it.
If you like bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Camel etc, you will love this album.

Muck Groh - not often mentioned round these corners:

The album Muckefu(k from which the track Zappenduster was taken is excellent.

Was a member of the band Aera which is listed in PA (see below).

Battles' new album Gloss Drop, nu-electro-prog-dance-rock-math-post-pop but still innovative, worth a listen!

Na Margon - Death's Angel.

Avant Rock band that released just one EP in 1993.

The music is dark and sinister, a bit like Art Zoyd - La Mariage Et De L'Enfer

By the way, the keyboard/guitar/lead  player Ronnie Ehrs  of said band is playing tomorrow on a kind of reunion of another prog  band 'Fantasia'  (that is on PA) from Finland that just made one record in '75. In Pietarsaari, Finland, on "Jakob's Dagar".

Na Margon deseves to be on PA even if they only made one EP, IMHO. After all, they are sold on ReR...and they are very good.

TERRENO BALDIO from Brazil released an album in the seventies and had to re-record it because the master-tapes were destroyed. So it's available on cd and i highly recommend it.Very symphonic and at times a Gentle Giant vibe.Great music.
