Damn it.

I've realised after I don't know how long that No-Script has been set to "Allow Scripts Globally".

I have also now sorted out that Facebook issue and now I can see all the updates my friends have been making and wishing they'd stay invisible. LOL

I liked that Archive video until he starting bitching about vinyl sounding a hundred times better than everything else. But I guess after all those years you would have to convince yourself of that.

Pat, do you ever berate your students for doing poorly because they're not doing the homework? Our Calc professor was upset that only 5 people passed the last test and that turned into a 15 minute ordeal. He is from India or something so he has no sympathy for us lazy Americans. (Before you ask, no, I didn't pass, but that is because some other stuff was going on and I didn't do the homework for the last section we covered, and the questions from that ended up being weighted 50% of the test because they're longer, but he drops the lowest test so I'm not concerned)

Do you know that song that they borrow from in March of the Fire Ants? I'm pretty sure it's Metallica, but I really can't place it right now.

What do you mean they borrow from it?  They use like the same riffing structure or something?

The only samples I know of are the T-Rex roar at the beginning of Crusher Destroyer and the white noise at the end of Elephant Man.

It begins at 2:27 in the song. It's not a sample, but it sounds really really familiar to the point that I assumed it was a direct homage to the song.

Actually I'm thinking it might be Sculptured Shocked

Nope. I tell them on the first day of class that I don't care if they come to class. I don't care if they do homework. I don't care if they pass the test. I don't care if they learn anything. I tell them that I'm here to help those who want to put in the time and effort to learn the subject. They know I could care less whether they have that desire or not.

Hi.

No one cares about her opinions, and not because she is fat, but because she's posting on a blog on the internet.

I doubt it's a homage to anything, that's just a melodic part two musicians probably just came up with on their own separately.  It is an awesome part though.

Not sure Joel.  Facerape is more popular than Henry's P.A. posts and insightful links.  However, it's viral, much like Henry's P.A. posts and insightful links.

It's a dilemma.

Oh and Unrest and Western Culture are awesome.  Mmm.

I want to make a Magma/Henry Cow/Metal band with lots of fuzz-bass and Kobaian vocals.

I didn't think of that.  You cannot do that with Henry's P.A. posts and insightful links.

Do it.

It's possible of course, but more times than not when something sounds this similar there tends to be some sort of connection conscious or otherwise.
