I've never gotten into a bar fight, ever.

It was my first bar fight that I've been directly in. Usually my friends initiate and I'm dragged in.

EDIT: We got banned from a place last weekend because my friend kept calling the bouncer's girlfriend a dirty coke whore. Kinda sucks. Our parents used to go to that bar all the time so it was a nice tradition.

I just like the story because you don't hear about many math professors getting into bar fights.

How come I'm dead tired after only getting 5 hours of sleep on a school night, but when I go to bed on the weekend at 5 in the morning and wake up at 10 I feel refreshed and invigorated?

I'm hoping that the new generation of math professors be a little rougher around the edges.

Because your brain knows it isn't going to school 3 mins after waking up?

Anyone ever heard of this band Cynic? They're not that well known. But they're pretty cool. I think a lot of people will enjoy them.

I have a man-crush on Paul Masvidal.

Sean Malone isn't with them anymore though.  Robin was a pretty capable bassist too but now he and Tymon are gone.
Reinert just kills those drums though.

Also, I got talk to Paul after a show once and he signed my copy of Traced in Air:

He's an awesome dude, we had a really neat conversation.
