Yeah, that's how I feel too. Especially since by nature you have to allow multiple attempts to ensure people are not just screwing up the formatting because especially with Calculus there's sometimes more simplification, so people can just bang at it until they get the right answer, especially for Physics when it's all calculator problems. Or maybe the Webassign problems only have simple answers. I think there should be some sort of grade besides the test in a hardcore class like Calculus, but lots of required homework is silly. My professor this semester gives a bunch of small quizzes based on the homework, which I think is a fair compromise.

lol, I got an 80 on my programs for this stupid intro to engineering class. I wrote something to do complex numbers in Basic instead of just getting the answers in Matlab, but no, a low B is all I deserve because I flowchart was so ugly because I didn't use a ruler!

Yeah it's especially troublesome in Calc II when different integration techniques become available. They will give answers which look incredibly different, but are equivalent. Kids gets problems marked wrong because they did the problem different than their professor.

I don't believe in homework grades personally. Three in class tests and a final for low level maths. Three take home tests and a take home final for upper level maths. I assign and grade homework, but it's completely optional. The grade only reflects how you did, it's not recorded.

Album art looks really cool. Them saying it's more of a progressive sound kind of scares me, but it will be awesome.

EDIT: Cool to see that Jadea Kelly will be doing vocals again.

It’s pretty good.  I’m very excited for the new album now.

Yeah, it sounds a lot more proggy and also a lot more focused.  I’m hoping there’s still a ton of unrestrained energy n the album.

I just borrowed headphones from a student to listen. Single sounds pretty good. Hardly blown away by it, but that's always been my experience with the band initially.

WHOA, A NEWBIE

Quick, someone tabletop him, then we can steal his wallet while he’s down!

And yeah, it’ll be interesting to see what Scurrilous sounds like after a good few listens.
