I need a job so I can start wasting my life away earning money now. Not sure where to look. I'll probably look for like 30 seconds then lose motivation again.
How sh*tty was Curtin Coles, Boggy? Looks like it mite b cool/is only like a 5 minute walk from mine.

In produce it wasn't too bad, got kinda board/they stopped giving me work after 2 1/2 years. The fact that its literally 200 metres from my house was amazing.

Produce would be nice, although I don't know if I can deal with people all day in a super market. It's probs about 6-800 from mine, although it'd still be awesome, esp. since the bus goes right past. I still want to work at that awesome underground cafe/bookstore/place where bands play, although I doubt they're hirin/would need anyone.

But I'm assuming the degree of sh*ttiness will vary greatly from some jobs to others, although I could be wrong.

Unless you work in a legitimately terrible store where people get pissed all the time because they have good reason to be, the annoyance of customer service interaction is vastly overstated by people because they're whiny bitches and/or too immature to be nice to people when they're not being nice back because it's their f**king job. Yes, it's annoying when people go "OH the barcode isn't scanning it must be free DERP DERP DERP" and think they're being clever but GET OVER IT.
I very much doubt a bookstore will hire you: you've probably noticed that bookstores aren't making any money anymore and nobody wants to hire teenagers because almost all of them do f**king horrible jobs.
Well yes joel there are degrees, if you can score a retail job that's much preferable to a busboy or some crap. Manual labor would probably have better pay than retail so that might be a toss-up in terms of sucking. But you're going to be the lowest possible position in any case.

I'm busy for tomorrow (need to get skewl uniform/books/meeting at school for year 12 sh*t). Would it be cool with you if I swung by monday afternoon (around 4ish)? That'd be awesome man.
@Henry: manual labor is a big no-no (for I am weak) and I can't really think of many jobs that'd offer it around here.

On second thoughts, wanna have a jam for an hour or two on whenever my first study day is if you're free? That'd be perfect if it's good with you, kill two birds with one stone/get some collaborative ideas down.

Hmmm, If your first study day (where your actually free) is next week then it will be fine, I start a week after you guys (on the 14th) and I'm pretty sure that Wednesday is taken up, however, I might be free after 4pm. Just gonna have to check that up for you.
