Hey, DT are a pre-89 band so it wasn't already decided. :P I dislike Dream Heater, Led Eppelin, and Led Ib, so I will be the first to admit to being unable to stand all three. Edited by Henry Plainview - February 01 2011 at 01:46 |

I like both bands but none of them are in my top 15.

Rather equally, it really depends on my mood. Both bands have their pros and cons.

I've never bothered to get into the Theater. Took me a long time before I got any Zep for my collection.

Zeppelin.
To be fair though, Dream Theater albums do make good skeet shooting targets.

I'll temper this by saying Kashmir is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard, but much of Dream Theater's early material (including a couple songs on WDaDU) surpasses it. Dream Theater all the way.

Dream Theater by far. I'm the kind of guy that says "rock legends" were good to pave the road for newer bands. :P

I like them pretty equally I'd say. One of the things I don't like about DT is that they always try to play way to fast for my liking and then it turns into this whole shred fest where it sounds like everybody is trying to solo at the same time. The one thing I don't like about Zeppelin is that a lot of their tunes deal with lyrical themes about promiscuous concepts and stuff related to that.
