Hi,

I found this information on a Polish news portal. They cited this blog as their source. Not sure if it's trustworthy... As they say: "this marvelous news that the KATE BUSH will be releasing a new album in 2011 came to us via phone conversation(s) we had from the reliable source(s)".

What say you?
"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

I say let's wait and see. And if it's not true we come back to this thread and flame you.

I would be surprised: from the statistics of her career, I would haven't expected any album before 2020. At least.

Well, I hope it is true, but if not I feel we'll be obligated to turn out and flame you.  LOL

Also, damn, it's 2011 already?  How did that happen?  (When you get old these kind of things tend to sneak up on you.) Tongue

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

There is nothing official according to katebushnews (which is the most reliable of all websites dedicated to KB) :
"Here at katebushnews we’ll only report something along these lines when we absolutely feel there’s substance to it, or it comes from Kate herself."

Yay!  I do hope so.  Although it would be about 5 years early on previous history!

Yes, anything as good as Aerial would be worth the wait!

Agreed. Aerial was a brilliant comeback album.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Indeed it was a fab album - who knows, there may even be a tour to promote the album...

Oh look! A flying pig!

Great if it's true but I won't be holding my breath. I'd give it another year or two myself.

It was confirmed by a "spokesman" in the Evening Standard tonight that Kate Bush will be releasing new "material" this year, but it's not clear if it will be an album or just some new songs.

God, I hope it's an album. Aerial was basically 5/5, and I think she'll be the only artist not to disappoint me somewhat with a new release.
