But someone has to be making money... or else how can we explain this? Racism? Excessive puritanism? Because for this one we can't fully blame the government, since countries where government has far more power have lower rates and proportions of prisoners.... Why?

In particular, minor drug possession laws will get you screwed, but there's a good chance you can just enter rehab, especially for marijuana, depending on the state. I think that's kind of bullsh*t too. I know I wouldn't like to be told and have to repeat the mantra that pot is bad...for some illogical reason. Oh well, beats prison. |
