His debut is awesome.

Who do you fancy for the championship, James? I see it's not Man U.

Tottenham.

I don't like any of the top clubs though.  My brother is a Manchester City supporter, so I wouldn't mind seeing them win it.

My grandfather was a Tottenham Hotspur supporter, so I have an affinity to them, but then my other grandfather was a Fulham supporter, I believe.  I also have a soft-spot for West Ham.

I hate Chelsea and Arsenal though.

This.

Best version of House Of the Risin' Sun to ever be on an album.

Tottenham are quite good, and they played well today against Newcastle. Bale is great. I know a lot of people hate Chelsea or Man United, but I've never heard anyone hatin' on Arsenal, and I don't know any reason for hating them. West Ham are OK, but is there any point in suporting and investing hopes in them?

Yep.  I was singing along to it when my brother put it on over Christmas.

I still prefer later albums by him though.  Desolation Road is amazing.  Travelling World War 3 Blues is amazing.  Lots of his stuff is amazing.  Lots of his stuff is sh*t.

I'm a Swindon Town and Swindon Supermarine supporter, so I'll invest hopes in anyone who's not doing too well. LOL  I hope West Ham can avoid relegation.

I just don't really like teams that win a lot.  Arsenal are like Chelsea in that respect.  Plus most, if not all, of their team are French, or French Nationals. LOL

Yep.  Even though I've somehow been to Nou Kamp (not during a match though).  I don't really follow many teams outside of England anyway.

I don't see the point in Scottish football either.  If I was an amazing footballer, I'd never go to play for Celtic or Rangers.  There's barely any competition up there.  Plus their stupid non-league policy sucks too.

What's the non-league policy? The Scotts weren't bad at all some time ago, but football itself has changed a lot since then.

It's not an anti-France thing.  It's the fact barely any of their team are English.  At least Manchester United have some homegrown talent, even if Rooney is a pile of smelly smegma.  He's not scored since March. LOL

Swindon have an awesome striker by the way.  Hopefully we can keep hold of him.  But our manager wants £10 million for him.  What? LOL

From what I have read, I don't think any teams (or only a bare few) from Scotland's Non-League ever have a chance of promotion to Division 2.  They don't have a tier system, like England does.

Yes it is.  It's metal-light but I like it.  Their follow-up is rather average though.

Alex:

There is no direct relegation from the Scottish Third Division but since the 2005–06 season if a club finishes bottom for three successive seasons then they will have their full membership of the SFL suspended. The club will then play the next two seasons as a non-voting associate member after which the full members shall vote on the fate of the suspended club.
