My vote goes to The Truth as surviving two night kills is indeed suspicious.

Friendship is like wetting your pants: everyone can see it, but only you can feel its warmth.

I also have a suggestion, because this game seems endless: can we reduce the day period to 24 hours?

As long as everyone's OK with that, I see nothing wrong with it. Sure.

I'll hold a vote during the night phase and if we get a majority, I'll switch starting the next day phase.

The day period was supposed to end about 15 minutes ago, but I wasn't around to close it, so Zebedee's vote counts.

Day 9: Vote Tally (as of December 13th, 2010  END)

1. Necktie- NecronCommander
2. Bea- Lizzy
3. Ciubia- The Truth
4. SolarLuna96- Lizzy
5. The Truth- Ciubia
6. nutella23- The Truth
7. Lizzy- The Truth
8. NecronCommander- The Truth
9. Zebedee- The Truth

Results (thus far):

Day 9

The Truth had been unanimously elected to be the first participant on the church carnival’s new attraction, the Merry-Go-Bye-Bye. He wasn’t sure he wanted to ride it, trying to volunteer Ciubia to go instead, but how bad could it be? The man from the carnival walked over to the group. “The lucky individual who was chosen can follow me! The rest of you can come as well to watch if you’d like.” Everyone followed the man over to a large carousel covered by a tarp. “And with great pleasure, I present to all of you… the Merry-Go-Bye-Bye!” He signaled to a bunch of his comrades, who then removed the tarp from off of the carousel. As the ride was revealed, The Truth’s eyes lit up. The carousel had several red velvet seats on it with a screen not far in front of each chair. It looked spectacular.

“There’s actually a feature on this carousel that I'm really proud of. Whoever sits in one of the chairs can actually see a moving cinema screen that corresponds to the speed selected by the controller. It should be an unforgettable experience! I’m excited to finally see it in action”, the man explained to The Truth. “Now hop aboard!” The Truth’s fears subsided. This actually seemed pretty neat! He sat himself in one of the seats, and the man started the carousel. It began to move and the Truth could see all sorts of colors, animals, and scenery in the screen in front of him as he rotated around and around. It was actually awesome! After about two minutes, however, the scenery turned incredibly bleak and scary, accompanied by an enormous increase in the carousel’s velocity.

“What the hell is going on?!” yelled the man. “Slow it down! It shouldn’t be going this fast!” The Truth began to feel incredibly sick to his stomach as the Merry-Go-Bye-Bye spun out of control. As it spun faster and faster, the visions in front of him grew increasingly more frightening. Eventually, he saw a creepy man with a giant machete on screen gradually approaching him, as if the 3-D feature of the screen was being utilized to its full potential.

The man in charge of the carnival finally was able to calm the carousel down, but by then it was too late. “Oh my god…” he exclaimed, as he walked over to the chair to find the Truth’s body ripped to shreds, apparently by a machete.

The Truth has been lynched. He was Rockette Morton.

It is now Night 9. You have 24 hours to send in your night PMs.

This isn't exactly the same, but has anyone read Ray Bradbury's novel "Something Wicked This Way Comes"?  There's a crazy carousel in that as well, except it ages people/reverse ages them instead of killing them with machetes.

And...  I am very interested to see what this rabbit man does.  Is he magic?  Is he a psycho killer?  Will he hand out Easter eggs with surprises inside?

That little attack against The Truth doesn't sit well with me. Perhaps this was a team attack?
