I'm sorry to hear that Unhappy.
Why is he/she having surgery?

Jaw surgery. She's had some bone missing in her left jaw and it causes breathing problems when she sleeps (if she sleep 8 hours, it feels like 4 or 5 to her) so she doesn't have much of a choice in it. The way I understand it they're going to open her up, break her jaws, go up and put some metal plates in, wire her teeth shut, and then close it all back up. She'll have to talk with her teeth closed (and I assured her I'll make fun of her for it Tongue). Although the bigger deal is a liquid diet for 6 weeks or so, and no school or work.

I'm not worried by any means. I just wish she didn't have to go through it. Unhappy

Ouch.  That's not good at all.  Sorry to hear that, David.

I have a weird jaw that annoys me.  The right side clicks a lot, especially when I'm waking up.  I can make it click at will too but I don't like doing it.  It hurts a small bit.

I'm not sure how long it's been like this either... hmm.

Pinch

That's rough. Yeah, a good thing it's low-risk, but it sounds like quite the ordeal.

I am watching Conan on Demand.  It is the first time that I've watched his new show.  He still isn't very funny at all.

She said the thing that bothers her the most about it is the fact that she'll be on 5-6 different kinds of pain medications (she hates taking medicine period) and that she won't be as independent as she normally is when she's recovering i.e. she'll have some difficulty walking early on.

All in all, like me, I think she just wants it to be over with.

It mostly stays on the one line, except when ProgFreak randomly selects a signature that causes it to go on to two lines.

I tried to make a "that's what she said" out of that, but failed miserably.

Never heard of her. Which is a good thing, I guess. Recognize the song, but not the name.

Stuff they play at clubs blur into one big blargh anyway. Except for occasional classic rock or pop.

You're not missing anything.  Just an auto-tuned non-performance.

Salty want!

Might end up asking for that one for my birthday...nothing wrong with giving gift ideas 6 months in advance, right? LOL
