Hey maybe the TSA could come to your home and give you a full body cavity search and they you could feel really safe. This kind of crap reminds me of zero tolerance policies at schools. More like zero intelligence. When will the American sheeple stand up and say enough is enough? No, we'll all be anal probed and flying naked and only then will we truly be safe. |

I think a good deal of people are beginning to wake up on this issue. I don't think Ron Paul's bill has a serious chance, but we'll see how big of a stir it makes.

Just remember, simply swapping out the federal agents for private contractors won't do when the policies are still mandated. The actual policies have to be repealed.
Start asking for warrants at the airport.

Yeah that's part of the problem. The movement is being hijacked and the terms are being changed.
Leading Republicans are now calling for the removal of the TSA from airport security. It will be replaced by private contractors, who will be bound by TSA procedures, hired by TSA officials, and under the scrutiny of the TSA. You get your government control and kick-backs to big business at the same time. Republican strategy 101. |

So democrats give power to the government. Republicans do the same but by at the same time giving half the power to big businesses.

And meanwhile, less than 1% of cargo is scanned for nuclear material, but I'm sure touching my balls really helps.

Start calling out both parties for the power-hungry, special interest serving, bastions of coercion that they are. |

They're already going to give away the money, I don't particularly care who they're giving it too. But I thought everybody complaining about the mosque was being absolutely idiotic (and probably bigoted and racist, and almost certainly pandering to the base for the election, I haven't heard a word about it since the election until now) so I'm one of those "Washington elitists" who are "out of touch with ordinary Americans". And to be fair, that's true, I really don't like the majority of Americans!

They should stop giving it away. And I'm a bit sick of the argument that it's a small percentage of the budget, wasting money sucks.

Yeah, but if they think it's more worthy than the other projects I can't see it as a big deal.
