Tom is cooler than the entire universe. Smile

If that were the case, there would be no way he could still be alive - the average temperature of the universe is a mere 2.735 K.  To put that in context, 0° C is 273 K. Geek
f*ck....!!! where is Jon and why do you stole his account?

Don't forget, Jon was a physics/astrophysics major for a while. Wink

Why did you stop?

The concept of failing out of college was one I didn't want to bring into reality. LOL  General Sciences, while not as much fun, is more passable.

I'm trying the Ayreon samples on the homepage (never heard anything from them).

Jon, what other pastoral / ethereal Krautrock is there like Yadha Sidhra? Also, since we're here, you recommend jam/post stuff like Ash Ra Tempel and punky stuff like Neu! ? Thanks Big smile

I'm not Jon, but you can't go wrong with Popol Vuh.

Closest I can think of to Yatha Sidhra is Popol Vuh.  Closest I can think of to Ash Ra Tempel is...not sure, maybe something like Agitation Free?  Not too similar, though.  Closest I can think of to Neu! is La Dusseldorf, because apparently they're a later band of one or more members of Neu!.  I haven't actually heard any of their stuff yet, though.

Do they fit in one of the three kinds of Kraut I've described? Which one, if yes?

They perfectly fit your pastoral / ethereal label.

Agitation Free isn't really "post" at all, but they do cover the jam part of ART's sound.

MrFirmTush just called me from Yosemite Park!

This girl is now a happy camper (even though I'm not camping)

Celebratory prog, perhaps? Any idea?

Linus, you're an RPI fan - did you see/hear about the new 3-disc version of PFM's Cook?

Nope. Haven't been smoking the RPI pipe that much lately, you see. This summer and much of the autumn has been largely prog-free, so I'm only gradually getting back into the mess again.

Ah, OK.  Well, the first disc is the original album and the 2nd/3rd are the entire NYC concert, apparently.
