More like especially Lizard. The title track is okay though.

No, Joel is right, ITCOTCK is an incredibly boring album. Fripp only got good with the aggressive dissonance of Thrak. He can't write a pop song for sh*t.

I haven't even heard ITCOTCK, I've got Lizard, LTiA and ITWOP. They all suck terribly, though.

LTiA is hit or miss for most people and the other 2 are boring as hell. Try anything they did in the 80s or The Power to Believe instead.

NOPE.
3 KC albums is enough of my money and time wasted on music I can't stand.

Belew-era is much different.  It's almost a completely different band, although the technicality is still intact.

Well regardless, Minus the Bear has a fairly talented guitarist. And he was in Botch so that gets brownie points from me.

Belew-era is my favorite KC era. And TPtB is as close to metal as KC got.

He was indeed (although I haven't heard them). I have a friend who saw them live and said that in between two songs, he recorded 3-4 guitar riffs live and then played them as a really beautiful wall of sound over the next song, all while playing that song's lead guitar part too.

That's pretty much why I don't like VdGG.
