No I had the opportunity at a Forest reserve where you soar over the trees and i was ready to do it and then my fear took over and I was like jelly - it will never happen

Hardly.  I wouldn't call being openly exposed to a 2,000 foot drop fun in any way, shape, or form.

It would be but a fear of heights would be difficult to overcome - the overpowering emotions would mess your head up and you would not be able to cope. I have a slight fear of heights but strapping myself to a flimsy looking contraption that resenbles an oversized kite and hurling myself into the void.... count me out
