Leviathan was the second album.  Remission was first.

Remission is probably my favorite Mastodon album.  It's very fast and very heavy, but there's enough prog in there to keep progheads happy.

Remission is the first, Leviathan the second. There's very little prog on Remission indeed, but some great metal tracks anyway.

It looks like the horse has gills, and the flames or whatever could be like a billowy decoration thing you see on other kinds of fish.
