You engineering students make me feel lazy.

Oh, wait. I am lazy for doing a BA.

We engineering students are whackjobs who find horribly confusing things like particle physics and quantum mechanics, as well as horribly existential things like universal theoretics, interesting.

At least, I do.

Then again, I'm far from normal, I'm an avant-metal fan.

Seeya, Alex.

We History/Politics students like talking about useless sh*t, being overly apathetic, and generally lazy. I like metaphysics and existential philosophy though.

This

And yeah my room mate was in engineering and he was the first to admit he is sick, for the stuff he legit finds exciting/interesting. Also hates a lot of his fellow majors because 95% of them are arrogant and think they are better than all of us, or just plain douchebags

The problem with us is, the most engineering majors are so grounded in science and fact that few of us have an imagination or any sense of imaginative fantasy.

Lucky I'm not that way; some of my fellow majors are such downers.

yes, plus a****les. I'll be the first to admit that major is literally 9000X harder then mine...but so many are cocks about it.
One person actually said "If you're not an engineer major I wont lie, I dont really have any respect for you" and he was serious. Engineering friends of mine have said, yeah alot think that way.

I did get AP credit for calc because I got a 4 on the AP test, but I opted to take Calc 1 again because I'm still hopelessly confused by the subject and I don't want to flunk out of Calc 2.

Nuclear is, IIRC, the highest paying degree out of college at the moment.  I'm thinking to go mechanical, though, even if it doesn't pay quite as well, because mechanical has a much broader range of fields you can go into.

From my school, both have about the same placement rate within a year out of college (nuclear at 91% versus mechanical at 88%, if I 'm remembering right)
Yeah, my math teacher said you should retake Calc I because high school really doesn't prepare you for it. I, of course, have to because I got a 2 on the AP test (lol, not doing my homework), and that was 3 years ago so I would want to anyway. Going into a field solely because it has higher pay straight out of college is not a good idea.

Quantum mechanics and string theory just pisses me off. The Large Hadron Collider is cool and all, but there's little to no evidence for so many of the things they're talking about...
