The package that I'm doing at school means that I have to do 20 weeks of tertiary assignments/tests in 10 weeks + 3 weeks of exams. That also means that I have 7 extra weeks of holidays over the christmas period at the end of this year. But it still sucks right now.

That's what a lot of our country does.
Except Wisconsin, who for some reason waits for school to start in early September.

Oh man, I really don't want summer holidays to be over. Goodbye freedom and carelessness, hello studying and nonsense that doesn't have anything to do with either geography or teaching (though it should).

Seasons don't really effect my city too much, we have cold/sh*tty/overcast weather for 10 months, then bushfires for the other 2 and 40 degree heat.

That's an awful lot of money. I get a tad more than 1k a year, and the new government is likely to get rid of all of that. Meanies they are.
