Do you have a good local music scene? We have a really good group of 5 or 6 amazing hardcore groups locally and I used to try to pick up on the laydays in the pit. The best part is when I f**k up whatever I'm saying they usually can't hear

Most of the gigs hear are like 5-10$ for entry so I've been average 2 a week for the past few months. There's even one great prog metal and one AMAZING tech-prog metal band around here which has been fun, although their shows are usually like 40$. Still good fun. I wish we had some jazz bands though. Can't really complain as it is though.

One or two of the gigs I've been to have been in a local bar, and one time I got in by carrying one of this band's amps with their guitarist. Mostly they at the youth center/random guys houses/the local convention center.

Not just size...It's also population

Mine, Woodbridge, NJ is 23 square miles I guess decent.....
but population: 97,717

That is 4,248 people per square mile!
