I always did wonder...how do these new SR's pop up? Is it determine? Does someone just do it?

And yes, this one appears to running fine and the site hasn't been slow or anything yet.

The admins close them around page 400, but lately they haven't been doing it "on time", so someone goes ahead and makes a new one.

Guess it's good timing. It really should feel like an honor to start a SR.
Only because for those too new to know....I suppose the idea goes back to the old Velvet Room from back in the good ol days.

It has been reincarnated many times, and taken a few branches but still the same!
