I'm sure it was Ligeti... maybe I'm confusing him with a different composer's son.

Yeah, Ligeti's son is a percussionist/composer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lukas_Ligeti

I'm guessing he plays some interesting stuff, based on the labels he's released on: Tzadik, Cantaloupe, TUM, Cuneiform, AtaTak, etc.

I hate MP3 players.

Actually, I hate MP3s.

I don't hate the idea or MP3s themselves but more the people who use them.  It means most people don't ever play albums now.  They put their favourite tunes on their MP3 Player and likely never really listen to a whole album for too long.

I rarely play individual tracks.  I always play full albums even if that album should include a crap track.  I endure it.

I listen to entire albums as well.  Even with my Zune, though admittedly they usually end up being broken up into sections then as I only listen to it while walking to and from classes at school.

The only time I don't finish albums or I skip tracks is when I'm driving and I usually only do that if I have passengers.

Hearing Part IV of Black Oni at any sort of volume won't go down well with them. LOL

Not bad.  Knackered after a long day.  I've been driving a bit and that always take my energy away.  Then I had to endure loud people at the club... not good when you're sober.
