Siam is always random.

And damn, someone (I don't know who) left some books in the club and one was a biography of Bill Hicks.  I so wanted to grab it but alas, it had to go in lost property. Cry

James, I've had times like that with a really good friend of mine as well.  She and I sort of grew apart for a year or so, then we've been back to being great friends like before the rift.  It kind of sucked, but all turned out well in the end again.

I've only written 100 words of a 1500 word paper due in a few hours.
I blame it on Henry.

This isn't a rift though.  Just a genuine misunderstanding between us and neither of us are to blame.

I'm sure all is fine.  She has family issues and exams to worry about at the moment.  Plus she also broke her foot the other week.

But to me... she just doesn't seem to be going out of her way to want to see me at the moment.  It's my fault partly though as I keep promising to go and visit her but ultimately keep failing.

The thing is, when I do see her, I enjoy it usually.  But also I get upset afterwards when we depart.  So seeing her is also kind of a chore.

Ah.  If, as you say, it's a stressful time for her, that's probably a part of it.  I'm sure that if you go to visit her or see her tomorrow it'll help out.

It also doesn't help that her mother has recently lost her job and when I messaged her the other day, she said it's her daughter that needs the support and would I promise to give it.  Well of course, I would!

I am friends with her whole family you see, so it's not just her I don't want to lose as a friend.

I shall be calling her later to hopefully arrange meeting up tonight.  I just hope she's wanting too.  She usually does on the first Saturday of the Month.

I've left a Facebook message and also sent a text but she's probably not checked the former and probably has no credit to reply back...

I'm hoping that's the situation anyhow.

We haven't fallen out anyhow.  I'm just worried that we're growing distant.
