I'm absentmindedly staring at my computer wondering what to listen to.

I think I'm going to have to get the rest of Korekyojinn's albums soon...I have Jackson and Swan Dive now, and so far Jackson is AMAZING. Big smile

There you go.  There are two songs to listen to, one of which is from Jackson.

Yeah, another band to fulfill my Yoshida drumming addiction.  LOL  I think even most of the non avant-heads would relatively enjoy these guys...no vocals, just high energy instrumental power trio rock and roll.

Indeed.  One of them is a CD+DVD combo (Swan Dive) for about the same price as just a single CD.  Hoppy Kamiyama (who's played with a ton of people, I gather) guests on vocals/keyboards on two tracks on the CD, as does Uchihashi Kazuhisa (guitarist from Altered States/Ground Zero, etc).

Sounds good. I'll try to keep it in mind.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of their albums though. LOL

The beginning of this Rialzu album's title track is exactly like the opening to Kontarkosz.

It's basically Korekyojinn with a second guitarist and a violin player added into the mix.  I've just started the album, never even listened to a sample before this.  Another CD+DVD combo for the price of a CD, too. Big smile

Yeah, so far it's fun as well.  The first track was *gasp* peaceful!  I didn't think Yoshi could play peacefully.  The second track quickly dispelled the peace, though.  It's chaotic.  Everything on the CD at least is improvised.
