I've not heard it myself, but apparently I can wake the dead with my snoring.   On the bright side, it works as a built-in home protection unit as burglars are afraid to break-in to a home that is so obviously protected by a guard bear.

My wife will rouse me and demand I roll on my side to stop snoring, and I'll swear up and down that I wasn't even asleep.

Unfortunately, I think that I still snore when I am laying on my side.  At least, I generally try to sleep on my side.  I think that the snoring is even louder when I am on my back however.
