Well, again, it's hard for me to speak for McGill, although I suspect it must quite similar to Concordia.

At Concordia, people just seemed to want to get their degrees as soon as possible and get a job.

By the way, do you have any idea how hard it is to get into McGill (like GPA out of 4 / SAT because I'm American)?

I really don't know. Probably not that high because they accepted me.

Although they'll accept any Francophone. Tongue

My parents think it's a good safety just in case the Ivies all reject me, plus it's way cheaper.

Oh cool!

I got my first present today. Big smile

And my first bday card yesterday, but it was from the used car dealership where I got my car last month LOL

Nice.  I got my first presents whichever day I got those three Krautrock albums, and my first card was from our insurance company.  LOL

If you want a non-drinking school, don't come to Penn State.  That's my biggest problem with it, everyone there is obsessed with alcohol.  When people know how old I am and that I still rarely drink (maybe some wine every now and then but that's about it), they like to call me crazy.

I think I'm going to buy the Korekyojinn guitar/bass sheet music available on Yoshi's website.  Then I need to learn the bass lines, get my friend who plays guitar to learn the guitar parts, and find a crazy drummer.

What? I thought college kids were supposed to be puking their guts out by 10 AM.

Yeah I know that Penn State's a big party school. One of my cousins went there. He was a big drinker in college apparently. I don't plan on drinking at all (aside from the occasional wine once I'm at the legal age). I'll be turning 21 March of my senior year in college, so it's not like I'll be able to drink much legally anyway.

I knew some kids who did.  Just about every weekend.  Unfortunately for the rest of us, the cleaning people didn't always come in before like 1-2pm on weekends, so we had to deal with the pleasant smell of puke filling the bathroom until then.

It was odd. LOL

Anyways, I'm getting off for a bit so my sister can type her essays. I'll be back soon.

Same at my school. It's a high school though. Not a university.
