Top Gear presenter and hairy person James May presented this week's Rock Show on BBC 6 Music standing in for Bruce Dickinson. Haven't listened to it yet myself but he apparently played plenty of prog including King Crimson (Lizard), Zappa, Rush and Yes.

You can listen to it here (I think this might only work for those in the UK though):

Ooo, cheers for the link.

Edit: I have just really enjoyed listening to that, thanks. Good ole James May!

I've just listened to it too, very enjoyable. Tull, BOC, Genesis, ELP, Crimson, The Who, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jeff Beck, Zappa, Sabbath, Purple, Floyd. Cool What a damned good egg Mr May is!

I love the fact that he played King Crimson, then said ok, now more King Crimson, and played another directly after. Great. He didn't even bother to make excuses, then he played another later. I've always liked James May.

That's nuttin' - Stuart Maconie plays prog EVERY WEEK on the Freak Zone. Though having said that, that's a pretty good list from Mr May, there.

I like May, and what a dream gig he's got on Top Gear.   Isn't the host of that show a progster?  He's always on about Rick Wakeman and others.
