Everything's free from my website. Though I am setting up a donations box later along with my slight website re-vamping, after dinner.

I recommend that you don't listen to samples from the "Anima" series as they're extremely dependent on being in the album format. I also think it would be better to wait for the new album to come out; and then if you're interested, you can gladly download the back material.

I have to check tonight to see whether all the download links still work and everything. They should.

Sounds cool. Let me know Smile

If all goes well, I should be back in a few hours letting everyone know. If you're not here, I'm sure you'll catch the buzz tomorrow.

I'll make sure to let you know.

I suppose you could always work chronologically too, to hear the evolution throughout the 3 albums (even though the first 2 are pretty related).

It's up to you, haha. I just think that this album is stronger, personally, even though I'd never change a note of anything I've ever done.

If I didn't think what I was doing now was miles better than what I was doing before, I doubt I'd release it.

My parents, brother, and I never watch it.

Yeah, my parents aren't watching it either.  I'm lucky, my roommate's gone for the next couple days, so it's not being blared in the room.

I don't think I've ever seen a single second of it. LOL

I've been working on album stuff all day anyway. At this rate, I very well could be releasing the sucker tonight. I couldn't be more excited.

Sweet!  I've been playing around with my bass and Audacity, via the converter I got to plug in an instrument cable to my mic jack.  It's not great sound quality, but I wasn't expecting much.  I've recorded a basic bass line and some very basic percussion (muted strings FTW) so far and I'm working on something to spice it up a bit.

Sounds awesome. If you ever need any advice, let me know. I now finally consider myself pretty familiar with Audacity. Maybe too much, haha.

I'd love to hear anything you come up with as well.

I'm becoming fairly familiar with it as well thanks to the music class I'm in this semester.  I've actually cheated a bit with this song, the basic bass line and percussion are looped.  Embarrassed  I'm starting to develop a bit of a melody to go over it, but it's still in development now.

Yeah, it was the easiest way to ensure that I kept the tempo steady the whole way through, since I don't have a metronome or anything with me. LOL

Understandable.

But with prog, you change tempo so much anyway who needs a metronome, amirite? LOL

Hmm, I need to meet someone from a prog band...or Udi Koomran.  Unfortunately, no bands are around me and Udi's the whole way over there in Israel.  Maybe Echolyn will come to Penn State sometime to hang out with me. Big smile

I've also met Rouge Ciel's member. I've spoken with them for 10 minutes or so... They were kind too, but we didn't discuss much.
I'd love to meet Jean Derome, André Lussier, Joane Hétu, and other members of the Québécois avant-garde scene.

Someday I'll have to come up there and visit.

That would make two avant lovers in the whole province! You are a avant lover, aren't you? Angry

Hopefully I'll be back in a few hours.

Do you play cello Alex? Big smile
For now, I love Spirit Flees and Spirit Returns.
Lethargy, Rites of Initiation and Hopeful Lament were not really my thing. I'll listen the other pieces.

And if anyone wants to add me on Goodreads, here I am. I've read more books than that but I can't be bothered to think of all of them and add them.

I was going to join Goodreads but then I realized I'm way too lazy to enter all the books I've read.

I'm going to do it just to track what I have read recently. I don't know if some people have the patience to enter every book they've ever read, but I sure don't.
