Hi.

Sur tant de mers, tant de planchers,
Un marin mort,
Il dormira

Ah, that's much better.  I had a feeling that "Caribbean Sun" was meant to be a cheesy novelty song.

The only thing wrong here is that you feel even the slightest stigmatization for feeling like that. Comes with the territory of this thread I guess.

It's okay. Because I don't feel anything wrong with it anymore and still enjoy it. Cool

I hope so, because that is one of the worst novelty songs I've ever heard.

What was that?  It's hard to believe that he used to be in Soft Machine.

Most of his music is really good IMO.  That song's not a typical example of his solo output, as far as I've heard.  I love his debut album, it's got a lot of strongly Soft Machine sounding tracks and a lot of other stuff as well.

God that song has horrible samples. And music. And images. It's pretty not good.

I like his music, but that video...wow.  I don't know what he was thinking.

If it's the concert that includes Scale the Summit, Cynic, and Between the Buried and Me, then absolutely.

Be warned he only plays for about 30 minutes if it's that lineup. But the other 3 are great enough in their own right that it's okay. Smile But your decision of course.

Seconded, great lineup.

From what I can tell its just a solo gig: http://www.enmoretheatre.com.au/events/2010/03/13/devin-townsend-project I'll definitely consider it either way, though
