I like your new avatar, BWT. Not nearly as ugly as your last one.

And potentially scary. I tried to make something sexual out of it, but I couldn't. :(
By the way, Shepard is a badass name. My Shepard in the first game was a tall, muscular black guy. |

How long will it last? You seriously couldn't think of anything?

It was too hard. That's what he said!

Obviously you have to have played ME1, but the point is the small references and crap that I probably won't remember from 2 years ago.
The only way to play male Shephard is the default. The custom faces can never look as good as him.

David, when you do tell me if there really are that many references to ME1. Someone claimed playing ME1 all the way through right before ME2 makes it much better, but I'm not sure if I can bother with that. I certainly can't bother with doing all the side missions again... |
My friends Branden already has the game, and it sounds like there's enough balance between references back to ME 1 and new material, but if you haven't played ME 1, you'll be lost at certain points plotwise. Although the fact they got rid of the infinite ammo feature annoys me.

It was ok, not as funny as I thought it would be though. Oh I didn't realize that was two pages ago you asked this ..but I stand by it.

Yes, it does affect the game, but I already have a Paragon and Renegade save from when the game came out so I don't have to worry about that. I want more Conrad Verner!

I've heard that importing your character from the first might somehow affect the game. I'm not sure, though. I know equipment, levels, etc. don't transfer over.

Ah. I want to play ME2 too, I'll probably end up waiting until summer, though.

I also want to play ME2, and I'll probably get it sometime within the next few weeks.
