Topic: A 50 Year old Dad reliving his childhood. Posted: December 24 2009 at 04:59 |
I feel like an Senior citizen, here on the internet, never been a computer guy. But my son and I are making it a mission of ours to find albums, and cassettes that I once owned, but left to the wife before we split (WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE). Prog/Metal/AOR are my favorites. A lot of the reviews I seen on this site, so far, are stellar, you guys do a good job. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

I'm 26 and never want to grow up, but that's from a desire to play with action figures and poop my pants.
Welcome Geezer.

Hey Geezer,
Have no fear. You've just stumbled into an army of extended adolescence and most of us feel no shame.
Welcome!

So, what's the biggest mistake of your life exactly? Splitting with your wife or leaving her your music collection?

Welcome from another 50-year old who will make the plunge from extended adolescence into old age sooner or later without experiencing the usual intermezzo of adulthood.

I don't think age has much to do with maturity, I had a high school chemistry teacher who still absolutely loves playing with fire. He took every opportunity to make things go BOOM. He is also one of my favorite teachers. Welcome to PA!

Does that mean you still have all your 8 tracks?

Don't worry we here all came to discover prog, but this forum made us love punk, grunge, grindcore, hardcore, death metal...
