I'm hearin the demos of my band... one song without lyrics and I'm trying to reach out a melody... but I'm at the job, trying to write an article about security and electricity in the school... so...

Change the program inside... Stay in silence is a crime.

I heard some Joni Mitchell on the radio the other day and it was quite excellent.

I wonder how many people expected a 16.5 minute song on Don Juan's Reckless Daughter by Joni Mitchell.

It could be a bonus track on future releases of your albums. LOL

I once wrote a little ditty called "Fast Food Restaurant."

It was about the experience of living next door to a place called Wiener Works for the first three years of our marriage.  We could hear people shouting at the drive thru order box and then the order being read back to the person.  This was something we had to learn to deal with.

The chorus started out, "We live next door to a fast food restaurant," and then I recorded the next line, "Would you like fries with that?" through a distortion box.  LOL

Clap Nice!

How did the move go?

Only half the people who said they would come help move showed up...LOL... we got it done though (on Saturday), and my legs have only just stopped hurting.

The apartment is spacious and probably has the best view of any unit here.  Lots of natural light (available light Wink).

Also, I talked my wife into giving me the WHOLE dining room for my workstation.  We don't have a place to eat, but so what!  We only spend 20 minutes at the table anyway!  So it's a waste of space if you ask me.

My only complaint really with the place is that the "new cabinets" we were supposed to get are just the old cabinets repainted, and it's the ugliest brown I've ever seen.  Dead  They aren't finished either- the workers have to put the cabinet doors on which I'm told are quite nice (they better be Angry).

But something about moving makes me feel like a "new man."  I've already lost two pounds.  Big smile

Also, I bought a case of Samuel Adams's Holiday Collection...mmm Cranberry Lambic...can't wait for that tonight!

Sounds like you're going to enjoy everything but the "new cabinets" Tongue

I'm planning use the warehouse of my new home to put a little recording studio... it seems like we'll wait until next year for moving... so... I can plan it without hurry...

Great question!

I only managed to drink half.  So I wrapped each of them in newspaper and stored them in a box full of computer cables and other wires.  I transported the box personally and no one was the wiser.  Approve

Isn't Natural Light kind of a swill beer?  The Sam Adams sounds interesting.

What did you end up doing with the beer in your fridge?  Did you drink it all?  Share with the movers?  Or move them?
