I haven't seen the whole thing, but from what I have it seems to be pandering to existential teenagers who think that things being incomprehensible makes them profound.* The first ten minutes or something that I saw on Youtube weren't very funny, and just reading the summary on Wikipedia makes me angry. You do not have jet engines mysteriously crash through the protagonist's roof! And the fans of it annoy me enough that I want no part of them. It's sort of like the people who think Fight Club is a really, really good movie. I am glad I watched it, but I have to be suspicious if you enjoyed it that much because it's such a high school movie.

*Which is probably why you like Yes. ZING! Actually I stole that phrase from ExitTheLemming.

HOW THE HELL DID IT GET TO BE 5AM!

I think I can hit most of the notes in "Close to the Edge."

That certainly doesn't mean it sounds any good.  LOL

How are you Joel and Rico?

Very good - 7 more days of school, (8 exams in 5 days however) but then 10 days of holidays. + Me and my band (now a badass trio) have nearly gotten enough tracks (currently at 7) for our piano-driven EP, due for finishing whenever we can be bothered!

Also seeing Porcupine Tree on the 5th of Feb

I'm lazy. Went to classes at 9 and crashed in bed until 1PM afterwards.

I won't be online until Tuesday after today.  We are moving and the telephone and cable and Internet and all that won't be connected until then.  Cry

I suppose that's a great time to get rolling on some original music then!  No distractions!  Big smile

Maybe I'll read a book (or hell, write one).

I haven't done the former all year, and I haven't done the latter in several years.

I read in between PA'ing and school working... And gaming

I also have been fairly absent when it comes to reading lately, mainly after being forced to read The Crucible and Of Mice And Men, both of which I hated.

I could say, "screw productivity!"  Big smile

Nah...I really want to make some music.  It's been a while since I've done that.

N64 is the way to go.
Seriously.

Bringing that out is the best thing I've done in 10 years!

I used to have one but gave it away when I got an Xbox.  Now I mostly play PC games.

I'd love to use my PC for gaming, but I don't have the budget/time to keep it up to date. PS3 worked out nicely though, and I use it (nearly) as much for music as I do for gaming.

Anywhom, I require rest. Off to bed for me

Take Care!
