It's punk isn't; is Hammill imitating Johnnie Rotten or was it vice versa????

Aapatsos and Alucard - your presence was most welcome last night and with the minor changes made to the shows's format, I felt pretty good with the way the show went. I wish however, I could attract more people at PA to listen and in particular to "chat" during the show. I also wonder what happened to the the 10 or so regular who dropped in to converse and make requests 2 or 3 years ago. Any advice on boosting these number would be appreciated.

Richard, I was thinking exactly the same thing last week. It is strange because with so many members on the site that go through the forum, I guess most of them have seen this thread appearing.
I was wondering what would be the best way to advertise this more.... I will let you know of any ideas - at the moment nothing ''sparkles'' |

will listen in next week, Dick, wish i'd remembered your show was on last Thursday as there was sod all on the telly - though i happily entertained myself by playing through my collection of 50's and 60's Rock'n'roll 45's ...though i only got up to 1959..
as for publicity for the show, a banner on the PA home page would help...?

I'm required by my radio station to have a reasonably high proportion of jazz/jazz fusion - and Jeff Beck across the show supplies a few of those. Otherwise, some student interest in Jeff Beck - so inclined to go back to shows that have some theme e.g. completely violin or featuring (in part) a band or musician's music. Then no Beck for months following.. |
