Due to the fact I have a job and am currently attending school I've only had time to write one review. But I have off tomorrow and I plan on using that time to wisely review one of the following albums.

In Absentia - One of my favorites of all time, not much needs to be said here.

Understanding Consequences - One of the most well hidden gems on the website.

Back To Times Of Splendor - The zenith of Progressive Death Metal.

Lazarus Bird - A very underrated album that will be the last from this brilliant group.

Prehistoricisms -  One of the biggest surprises of 2008.

Experiments In Mass Appeal - My favorite Neo-Prog album of all time and my AOTY in 08, this is a finely crafted album that is sure to please prog-fans and casual listeners alike.

Il-Ya- One of the most eclectic Post-Metal bands I've ever listened to. This Japanese sextet is able to combine opera style vocals in addition to powerful drumming, shrieking violins and shrilling yells.

I say the Disillusion album. Very underrated for sure, and we definitely don't need another review for In Absentia...

Yea I don't think I'll review IA even if it does win. I'd like to do something a little more obscure.

In Absentia - I really reccomend you review it... That was the first album I was truly able to set myself loose on when it came to writing a review, and it changed my whole style of writing. You can read mine here (http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=213033)
