Problem is the Phillies have a great lineup that doesn't give up and has found a great new plate discipline.

^ And the Cardinals were happy to be facing the Phills if they got that far. Go figure. That could have been their problem, they were looking forward to the next series and didn't concentrate on the Dodgers.

^The Dodgers are a very good team.  Anyone taking the lightly is a fool. They are a better more complete team than the Cardinals were.

I'm not taking the Dodgers lightly, but I feel the Phillies match up against them better than the other 2 NL playoff teams.

Yes 4 months ago. Doesn't change how our teams compare to me. I think the Phils underachieved before. I expect a 4-2 win.

Well according to the NYT for the purity of the game the World Series must be Yankees vs. Dodgers. Whatever that means.

I think that the Commish wants that. Better for TV ratings.

So what is the over/under on the total runs scored in the Philly/LA series? 75? 100? No pitching last night. 4 hour game. The people got their monies worth.

Haha. Watching the fantastic NY/LA game and a Chase commercial came on which had a part of "I've Seen All Good People" on in the background. I was pleased.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.

So the Phillies scored more runs than the Eagles today. Another gem by Cliff Lee, but I am a tad upset he was out for the 8th inning.

Hopefully the Angels can make this one interesting at home tomorrow.

Bah, if the Yankees win it all my three favorite teams will all hold championships at the same time.  This MUST happen!

Time always wins.

I am angered at the Yankees-Angels game going into the 11th inning and interrupting my viewing of House this evening.  Angry

If that's true, then why didn't they?

Wow that Dodger Philly game was intense.  I thought the Dodgers had it when Ryan struck out and Werth flied out to end the 8th.  But for what ever reason Broxton couldn't find the plate and put two guys on with a walk and hit by pitch!  Then just grooved one for Rollins instead of hitting the outside corner where Martin had set up.  Ouch! Ouch

Ah well that is Baseball.  Lets see if they can win one more to bring it back to LA. Going to be tough against Hammels at home but they have surprised me before.

One thing for sure that home plate umpire should have been arrested for that game he called last night.  I have seen Little League games called more constantly. I mean that for both sides.  The kind of effort both teams put out there and the calibre of the pitchers deserved a lot more than that guy gave. Angry
