Same here, bro. The girls who like me just the way I am are exactly the type I want. If a girl chooses to ignore me based on how I wear my hair, well . . . they obviously aren't deep enough for me to bother with in the first place. (Shallow)
That's not entirely fair because some stylistic choices reflect how irritating a person will probably be (i.e. I do not see myself liking a person with this shirt, or, frankly, any shirt from that site or Thinkgeek). Now as for hair, I've never really met someone with outlandish hair, but I assume that they would probably be annoying if they think maintaining it is an act of nonconformity (like all the other silly people with stupid hair). In any case, your appearance does say something about who you are.
if you own a sodastream i hate you

No offense, but you and I don't really seem to agree much on anything, so I'll respectfully disagree. Wink

Exactly. And do I want to be with somebody who cares more about their hair than their direction in life? Absolutely not. I wear my hair long and unstyled to show other people that I don't care much about my outward appearance, and I think that makes me more approachable to the types of people I would electively hang around, so to me it's all about honestly and cutting down all the bullsh*te that people tend to put into how they 'appear' to others.

It's definately a personality and societal statement when I choose to keep my hair long, but I do choose it for a reason. it's not just because I don't have any motivation to keep my hair a certain way, I just don't care. And others of like mind may recognize that in me and approach me as a result.

See, it's all very tactical. LOL

True, but if you wear it tastefully they don't mind as much. In my experience, anyways.

I'm not going to cut my hair anytime soon. It won't let me.

Actually that almost makes a cool moustache.

If I ever grow a moustache it will most likely be one of those cool mutton-chop type ones that move from the sideburns to the upper lip to make a 'stache. It'll be pretty awesome.

I've shaved for almost 2 years now, but i've never shaved my sideburns. The longest strands are 3cm, which is a bit over an inch.
Not very thick, but still Tongue

That's how I am.

Yet one of my best mates is female and is always changing her hair.  Almost daily.

I used to really not care about my look. Half grown hair, ugly almost-mustasche and boring clothes (Not ugly, just boring).
Then i grew my hair pretty long and started wearing a bit more varied and interesting clothes Tongue
Now i'm in a phase when i really like colorful clothes, weird hair colors and stuff. Still really like long, natural hair, though! I just needed a change.

Me and Alex on holiday in Cornwall waiting for our cream tea to arrive - I'm looking a bit tired there for some reason.
