No potential for customer offense there, then...

Since when do the Brits have a hygiene problem? They've had indoor plumbing for quite some time now.

Bidets anyone?  My first encounter with one was in a hotel room where my sister was getting married.  I turned it on and squirted the ceiling.  I never actually tried to use it as it was intended after that. LOL

Scotland frees terminally ill Lockerbie bomber who killed 270 people, mostly Americans 8/21

Maybe we could hook him up with Squeaky Fromme?

HE'S DONE IT!

19.19 seconds, 200m, Usain Bolt.

A 1.1 second record improvement, just like in the 100m.

Phenomenal, and out of this world!

Silver and the rest were 30 meters and 0.70 seconds behind. Simple spectators.

Any excuse to post that clip again.

Shoe thrower set for early release

 Link

 Excerpt:
Muntadhar al-Zeidi, who threw two shoes at President Bush is set to be released early due to good behavior while imprisoned:

He was initially sentenced to three years after pleading not guilty to assaulting a foreign leader, then the court reduced it
to one year because the journalist had no prior criminal history.

Defense attorney Karim al-Shujairi said al-Zeidi will now be released on Sept. 14, three months early.

"We have been informed officially about the court decision," al-Shujairi told The Whore AP in a telephone interview.
"His release will be a victory for the free and honorable Iraqi media."

Indeed, I think this can be considered a victory for Iraqi journalists.  The boneheaded traditional media in the United States
could use some of that shoe-throwing spunk, actually showing some passion for investigative journalism rather than just repeating
the talking points of the Bush b*****ds.  I'm not saying anyone should be throwing shoes at politicians, but it would be nice for
journalists to sometimes reflect the general mood of the populace as al-Zeidi did when he shouted:

"This is your farewell kiss, you dog! This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq."

I think if the Government was smart they would charge people to do it. They could pay down the deficit. Come to Capitol Hill and throw shoes at your favorite Senator/Congressman. 2 tosses for $10.

They did it to get the young male audience. They already got the females with 'Hanna Montana" and the other Dizney girl friendly stuff.

As they say, how low can you go...

On the plus side, it being D.C., maybe these people can apply for a govt. bailout and actually receive it.

Nice fan friendly league, that NFL...
Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.
