Jeff,

Great news, I'm giddy with excitement.

I'm obviously excited about the Transatlantic songs, especially a 77 minute epic?  Damn, that's like Epic squared.  I'm also kind of interested to hear the cover of Hogweed.  This should be pretty cool.

Thanks for sharing,

Tom

I'm also looking forward to the Santana cover. I'm very curious how that will sound.

So I'm a geek, I decided to count up the posts on the thread and see how many posts everyone had.  I'm embarrassed to say both that I have the most posts and also that I've apparently miscounted.  I totaled 791 posts when in fact there should be 824.  I've missed a page or so.  Nonetheless, here are my less than accurate post results:

So Tom, you get the award for most fervent fan.  Watch progrules go mental with posts as soon as he reads this LOL.

I'm fairly happy with 4th, pipped for third by Pablo by just one post.

As you say, 42 pages is a really great effort by all, Clap due to us all.

*Bing* that's what I missed...Barny, that's where the missing posts went.  I kept going over things trying to figure out what I missed.  Ok, I'll edit the stats tonight and update the list.  I was really bothered that I missed that many posts, thank you for pointing that out.  I was actually rather annoyed at myself that I couldn't account for the missing posts.

Further proving my geekiness, thank you for letting me know, it was really bothering me that I was missing something.

Ah well, I'll add to my paltrey total of posts on this thread. I've spent the week going through my new TFK collection. As I write this, I have Monster Within from Space Revolver blasting out - hugely enjoyable, some amazing mood changes and musicianship.

I still have not dared to write an album review yet. I'm really not sure I can do any of them justice in the sometimes limited periods I can spend on the forum. However, I will be giving it a go when I am far more familiar, but, going back to my post at the start of page 40, this band are worth every penny of the outlay.

Jeff,

I think it was curiosity to see how many of my total posts were in this thread.  I'm relatively new and this by far is the place that I 'hang out' the most.  I just wanted to get a rough estimate as to the percent of my total posts that are in this thread.  A little less than 20% is the answer.

Also, thanks Angelmk, I'm pretty excited myself, I'm actually going to see Roine playing with Karmakanic and Agents of Mercy in mid October.  I know the label release date isn't until October 27th, but I'm hoping that they'll be selling copies at the show.

Anyone else going to see Karmakanic and Agents of Mercy?  I know that Scott is going to see them in Detroit.  If you are withing striking distance, it should be an amazing show.

Hi all.

I'll be on holidays for a week after today, I'm off to sunny Greece for a well-deserved LOL holiday.  I have a fully loaded mp3 player, plenty of TFK on there too, so I'm happy.

Incidentally, I noticed that out of a total of 623 tracks on my mp3, 286 of them are progressive rock.  There's also plenty of psychedelic rock, "instrumental rock" Ermm, general rock and new wave ( Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden is new wave? Really Confused).  Throw in some electronica, progressive metal and ambient too.

Anyway, back on topic, ther'll be nothing from me for a week on here, so to quote David Gahan, enjoy the silence.

Wow, you'll note that Depeche Mode is indeed in the far right column of my most listened to bands.  Have a good trip Roj and enjoy.  We'll keep the light on for you.
