I'm happy to co-ordinate, but you really don't want me on the team, graduate of Toothickfor University as I am

BTW - Godot didn't turn up again
+++ Excellent production - I've never seen so much humour injected into what can be a very dry script - McKellan & Stewart were a great double act, with Simon Callow overacting as if his life depended on it in the part of Pozzo & Ronald Pickup nearly stealing the show as Lucky: Lee - if you're considering taking your better half to see this, do it; you'll have to be quick though, there are very few tickets available. It was just a suggestion by me. I don't think they'll actually enter a team. If they do, I'm not getting involved. |

Maybe you'd prefer to go solo and go on the Weakest Link? Jim, you're doing yourself an injustice. You're far more intelligent than you believe you are. Besides, the team captain on Eggheads can just sit there and only answer questions in the final round (unless you're the only one left ). |

Too hot to work so it's music time. As I said before I've hooked up my Walkman to a CMoy (Chu Moy) amplifier circuit built in a Red Penguin mints tin to power my Sennheiser HD600s. What a great way to laze a Sunday afternoon in a shady part of the garden with a jar of Empire and a cooling breeze. The longterm summer forecast is for more of this.
Better get some more Empires in!!

Yea, that damn Godot. I've been waiting for him forever but he never does show up does he? I am curious how they inject humor into this, after all it is a play where nothing happens....in two acts. |

McKellan & Stewart work so well together, they've completely re-interpreted Estragon & Vladimir's characters - also, as they're performing Godot from Beckett's original & complete text, maybe there are lines in there which aren't usually performed. Something else they brought to the production was a splendid physical comedy, reminiscent of Laurel & Hardy at their peak.
I know! I was as surprised as you |

The Uber-Shed-Veranda is finished! Vicky and I worked with our good friend Rob (yes - he is Bob The Builder ) to complete the project from 8am to 6.15pm without a break on Saturday in that heat & are well and truly delighted with the results.
2 weeks start to finish - We was Rob'd! |

If you want to look at more minis have a look at this address. The reviewer says there are better sound quality ones available but I am happy with mine. Though my answer to his issue on batteries is - get a rechargeable pack. I'll agree with his comment about the switch - it would be better at the top but so far I haven't had any problems with it. I got mine through an ebay auction as a player/amp/rechargeble battery bundle.
Cheers
