John Otway is not so much a shredder, as a one man force of nature

One of my friends' bands supported him many years ago - they went down a storm, but then had to sit through John Otway's set panicking & wondering whether their keyboards, drums, amps etc were going to survive what was going on on stage.

Quick tip to your friends - remove as much equipment from the stage before he plays

It's fine, Jim.  My mate's band is a joke band anyhow.  They've never performed before and it's all just a laugh.  Not sure how he got the gig mind you... he does work at the club though so that could explain it!

Lummy, I feel old.

Today I 'celebrate' 30 years working for the same company.Loyalty or lack of ambition? I can't make up my mind.

I received an extra day annual leave and a £100 National Garden Gift Voucher.

Is it time for tea yet? Porridge, porridge, porridge. All I hear is porridge.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

Clap nice one - with the way companies turn-over staff it's a major achievement and well worth celebrating.

I'm approaching 25 years (this August in fact)... 25 years since I escaped from that London to the wilds of 'ampshire... damnit - this is the longest I've ever spent in one place and I still don't feel like a native.
What?

Anyway, I can not wait for Monday.
Heading out to Cedar Point, (best amusement park on Earth) with some friends.
Pics shall be posted.

You've obviously never been to Ikea Lakeside at Thames Thurrock, they fill the ball-pool with dismembered heads...
Fun for the kids

LOL

They look surprisingly happy.  Maybe the wind changed when their heads were dismembered?

Oddly reminiscent of the Nursery Cryme album cover if you ask me.
'Like so many of you
I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

Robert Wyatt, Gloria Gloom

Embarrassed Right, figures.... Just did a search and found out you're back since December. That at least shows that I've been off site quite a bit since then...
