Hmm... I should listen to IPOL after this album (Steve Howe Beginnings) which I think I'll review now
5 star review, right?
I think Howe is going to get a 3... maybe a 2. I'll figure that out at the end of the review.
hmm... IPoL may get a 4. I've only heard it 4 times now, and that's not nearly enough. "War" starts things out disastrously (seriously, I see nothing to like in that song), but I'm only Living In The Heart Of The Beast right now, which is SOOOOOOOooooooo much better - and I remember liking side 2 a lot.

LitHotB is even better live though.
Now if they'd swapped War with a studio version of No More Songs or The Ottawa Song, the album would be much better.
And ended it with a superb 7 or 8 minute version of The March.
Just add on No More Songs, Ottawa Song, AND The March.
Then it's even better.
No.
I like my albums to be about 45 to 50 minutes in length.
Discard the trite and rather short War and stick in No More Songs as an opener. Remove Morning Star and stick in The March. Although you'd have to rename Beginning: The Long March.
