Old news, hon!  Smile  But thanks.  I lost it in July.  400 teachers in this county are out of work too.

Anyway, I'm selling my music finally, so that helps a bit.  You can hear good length samples here:

Well, if you don't have a question about his short-lived time with Dream Theater, it'd be interesting to know how that was---how it was to interact with the other musicians, etc.

Didn't you have a new one earlier? Or an interview that went well and I assumed you had found a job?

Ask Derek what he thinks of the nickname "Caligula of Keyboards" and how he wound up with it.

Yeah, I was at a school dealing with "troubled teens" (bullsh*t phrase if I ever heard one- we're talking about kids who have burned down people's homes with no remorse- they ought to be in the clink).

Anyway, long story short, they had me working 11-12 hour days for 85USD a day.  The administration was very critical of everything anybody did.  The building was falling apart (jackets were not allowed in class even when it was 50 degrees F in the room).  They had no means of disciplining anyone.

So I said, to put it politely, "To hell with this."
