She just called me - basically the baby is sideways instead of head down, so they want to try to do a procedure called an external version where they try to turn him so he's going the right way - if it works, they may induce her immediately afterwards - still sort of up in the air at this point (and it's probably mostly the uncertainty that's messing with my head).

Oh, okay. I can only imagine... good luck with all of that! I'm sure you won't need it though. I wonder what my mother thought with me... I was born a month or more premature and she had a C section. I was a really small baby.

I don't want to go into details, Alex. Pat will fill you in.

I have to be honest, I hadn't got you down as an Opeth fan, Pat...is this some form of bizarre pre-natal craving, which is likely to subside when your wife gives birth?

I'm not at all surprised...I'm amazed you can concentrate long enough to form coherent posts.. needless to say, my sincere good thoughts and best wishes are with all of your family at this time...![Hug Hug](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley31.gif)

Well I try and do my best for P.A. and all I get is weird accusations.
Patrick, good luck with the birth! Should you not be at the hospital with the wife?

Thanks Jared - and yes, I've had most of Opeth's discog for a few years now...they were one of my first discoveries here on PA - hadn't listened to them in a long while, and for some reason I was in the mood for that particular record.

Oh right. I presume you have permission to leave work at any time then?
