After all the talk of McD's I had a compelling urge to stop at one on my way home from work this lunchtime... bit of a shock to the system that (now admittedly, I don't get out much, and I suppose it is half-term, but...) ... I actually walked out of there feeling incredibly thin and healthy.

although I think even the most 'evangelical' of McDonald's spokespeople will admit that, when it comes to the vegetarian option, they really don't try that hard...

I guess you'll have to try the pique and see if it fits.

I went into the Winchester McDs and ordered their veggie spicy bean burger. The oik said they were out of them, would I like an ordinary burger instead...

I wouldn't know, I'm an omnivore.

 

strange you say that... 'Australian Cattle Dogs' would be considered to be quite a shedesque subject for discussion...

 

as a matter of fact, I'm presently devising the Shed's Spring evening discussion programme, and I have a gap in mid March, somewhere between Rob's evening on 'Practical Beetroot-keeping', Jim's 'The Human Digestive System - an Empirical Study', Alan's '101 things to do with a cub scout on a soggy campsite' and Rachel's 'Living with Lardycake...the secret confessions of a domestic goddess' (all the boys are looking forward to that one..)

 

I've even heard that Peter will be weighing in with his own 'Motorcycle Diaries' at some stage, so you'll be more than welcome...
